Products that I'm wearing right now that were all handmade locally and made in America by women artisans and makers!

Let’s start with the face!

It’s important to use beauty products that are made with natural ingredients and by makers who care about your health and safety!

Additionally, with the biodegradable paperboard tubes and recyclable packaging, the make up is not only good for you but way better for the environment than traditional products, as well!

  • 1. Zero Waste, Organic Concealer

This small pot of concealer goes a long way! Made in the USA with organic, vegan ingredients, packaged in a biodegradable paperboard pot. An all day formula, non-drying and non-caking.

I use my finger to blend it onto my face, especially under my eyes and on my chin and jaw line, and any other areas that need a little brightening and covering up. I used shade #2 in my look above, and it’s during winter here in Northern Michigan. (During the summer when I have a little more color to my skin tone, I like to use #1 and #3.) These shades go all the way up to #7, so there’s a tone right for you!

  • 2. Vegan, Non-toxic Mineral Eyeshadow

I made these! I love using mineral eyeshadows that don’t contain the fluff ingredients that are just cheap fillers, so this goes a long way! I tap a little powder out of the sifter, (onto the inside of the lid so any excess makes it’s way back into the container when I close it back up,) dip my finger in and blend onto my eyelid. I like to use the concealer on my eyelid to help the loose powder eyeshadow adhere to the eyelid skin. I do this step before my blush because you might get a little bit of fallout on your cheeks, but it’s easy to brush away before your blush step.

In the look above I used “Driftwood” on the inner corners and “Saugatuck” on the rest of the lid, and blended them well in the middle.

  • 3. Organic, Zero Waste Blush Stick

Same as with the concealer, these are made in the USA with non-toxic, organic, vegan ingredients and packaged in a biodegradable paperboard push up tube.

The color I used above is called “Bloom” and I just rubbed a little bit straight onto the apples of my cheeks and used my finger to blend into my skin for an even application.

  • 4. Plant Based, Organic Mascara

Made with plant based botanical ingredients in the USA, this amazing mascara is long lasting and water resistant due to the waxy formula.

For the easiest application, I just set a small cup of warm (not hot) water on the counter and plunk the tube in (bottom down, and make sure it’s closed tightly) and let it sit there as I am putting the first step above of make up on my face and let the tube warm up a bit before trying to use it. That way the wax is able to soften and applies much, much easier. If you think it’s dry, don’t add water or anything else to the tube! Try this warm water in a cup trick and you’ll be glad you did! (Besides adding anything to a shelf stable product may introduce bacteria into it, and will ruin it!) Sometimes using non-toxic products can use a little getting used to, but it is so worth it in the end since we aren’t exposing our bodies to all of the cheap nasty chemicals that harm us after awhile.

5. Organic, Vegan Tinted Lip Balm in Rose Gold

I am the kind of person who needs a constant layer of lip balm on my lips. Especially in this dry, winter in Northern Michigan air, my lips can get so chapped and dry.

When I say this is the best lip balm I have ever used, I am being 100% honest. I LOVE this product! Not only is it vegan and organic, and packaged in biodegradable paperboard tubes, but it gives such a cute naturally rosy color to your lips. It also comes in Bare, for a non-tinted, moisturizing application. BUT the best part of this formula is not the color, it’s the lack of unnatural tastes and synthetic fragrances. It’s made with natural cocoa butter so it has a very slight, very pleasant scent of cocoa, and the smooth, luxurious hydrating effects of the balm stays on the lips for hours! No exaggeration!

Next the accessories and clothes!

One of the most important ways we can make a positive impact and positive change for our community and country is by ‘voting’ with our money. What does this mean? Instead of supporting huge corporations who’s only interests are to make more more more money, at the expense of everyone else and the environment, we can help support one another by shopping small.

The products I carry on my site do just that, and with every purchase made, you not only support me and my son, but you also support several other artisans, women, small business owners, and independent makers who take pride in their work and provide only the best for our customers!

Making a Difference

By making a purchase from my website, you also make an impact because part of your purchase goes to a great cause. In 2020, we were able to raise enough money to plant 1,111 new trees in the US, through our pledge with One Tree Planted! This is incredible, because just 100 trees alone offsets one year of personal carbon emissions. With your help from just making a purchase from our website, we off set carbon emissions for the next 11 years! Way to go, everyone!!!
