Casey Blue Music
A Personal Note about my CD Northern Lights
Northern Lights is a deeply personal album I made with care and intention. Itās not mass-produced. Itās personal, heartfelt, and as handmade as I could make it
The disk itself features a stunning photo of the Northern Lights we saw from our backyard in May 2024. To make each copy special, I hand-applied holographic silver foiling to highlight the stars and text on the front, giving every disk a unique finish.
Inside are 22 songs I wrote during some of the most transformative seasons of my lifeāthrough motherhood, running a business, heartbreak, healing, self-care, and learning to love again. Theyāre deeply personal, and I created them with my son in mind, so he'd always have this little piece of me. Heās heard me sing these in the car again and again on our way to school.
I release music under the name Casey Blueāa name close to my heart. I used to go by āCaseyā in school before shortening it to just āKCā, and āBlueā comes from the vibrant, soul-soothing blues of Lake Michiganās waters that always bring me home.
While I love all kinds of music, these songs found their voice in the country genreābecause storytelling is its soul. But if youāre not usually into country, especially the kind wrapped in clichĆ©s about trucks, beer, or religious themesādonāt worry. This isnāt that. These are reflective songs about being human. Think of them like honest conversations set to music. So far, the friends and family Iāve been brave enough to share it with have truly loved themāand I hope you will too!

A note about how I created these songs:
Iāve been hesitant to share this music with you, my friendsānot because it lacks authenticity, but because of how complicated and messy the conversation around AI has become. Without it, this album wouldnāt exist. These songs lived in my heart for years, and AI helped me finally share them. Not as a shortcut, but as a bridge.
I know AI is a complicated subject, and I respect the concerns artists have. We absolutely need protections and boundaries. But I also believe thereās room for AI to be used ethicallyāto help people like me tell stories that would otherwise never be heard.
This isnāt fast content. Itās not mass-produced. Itās personal, heartfelt, and as handmade as I could make it beāright down to the foil I pressed onto every disk. I made it for anyone whoās ever felt too much, or not enough. These songs⦠they come from the deepest parts of me. They carry my storyāquiet moments of healing, messy growth, love, loss, and hope. Iāve used every tool available to me to bring them to lifeānot to chase trends, but to leave something real behind.
If you take the time to listen, I hope you feel a little less alone. I hope you feel seen. And I hope you hear the soul Iāve put into every lyric.
šµ Thank you for listening.
