When KC’s not creating nail polishes, working on fulfilling orders, or curating amazing products from talented makers for her latest venture - Northern Self Care & Gifts, she enjoys photography, spending time with her son, painting, traveling, and spending time outdoors camping or skiing here in beautiful Northern Michigan.

Kristina has an ongoing interest in sustainable practices, which led her to obtain a BAS in Sustainable Business Management. She describes herself as “an active writer of those topics which matter.” She has “a deeply embedded passion for words and the wonders that having them has created for us.” Her intentions as a writer are to enlighten the human experience, creating a cohesive understanding of the world we live in, and how we can better care for it.

Katie grew up and went to college in the mountains of North Carolina. After moving around the country, she landed in Northern Michigan and wants to stay! Her and her husband have a small hobby farm that keeps them busy most days. She also loves hiking, stand up paddle boarding, bonfires, and playing cards.
Lives: Manton, Michigan
Favorite Hobbies: Gardening, reading, and crafting of all types.
Favorite Season: Can’t pick between spring when everything is in bloom or fall when we get to harvest everything.
Favorite thing about Michigan: I love the diversity of Michigan - the people and the landscapes. There are always new places to explore and new foods to eat.
Favorite Northern Nail Polish: ‘Leland Blue’ with ‘Get Your Mitten On’ applied over it to look like turquoise gemstone
Favorite Dinosaur: The brontosaurus because they’re big and gentle and eat plants. :)
When Ella's not doing nail art, swatching new polishes, or reviewing products, she enjoys experimenting with makeup, photography, and other artsy things. She started doing nail art in 2016 and has just graduated high school.

Natalie was born & raised in The Bronx, NYC & has lived her entire life in the city. Natalie has always had a love for beauty, sneaking into her mother’s makeup & nail polish collections as a kid. Natalie went on to pursue a career in the mental health field & as a form of self-care, got more invested in the nail polish community, doing nail art & trying new brands. This is what started her instagram account, which is where she shares swatches & easy-to-do freehand nail art.
Favorite Hobbies: Aside from playing with makeup & polish, I love watching true crime documentaries & cooking.
