Northern Apothecary Eye Shadow and More! My Look on March 23rd
I wanted to share my make up look from March 23rd with you all!
I’m wearing eyeshadows in the shades “Drummond Island,” “Sand Dunes,” and “Driftwood.” I am also wearing the organic blush stick in “Pinch.” On my nails is “Niagara Falls” topped with March Polish of the Month “Butterflies & Blooms” glitter polish.
The eyeshadows and blushes that I handcraft here in Traverse City, MI are all loose mineral pigments, without any fillers or additives. That means you use a fraction of the amount you normally would since it is so highly pigmented. All vegan ingredients, from cruelty free certified sources. Non-toxic and chemical free eyeshadows and blush. Fragrance free, paraben free, and dye free.
Want to know what kind of chemicals that you’re preventing yourself from being exposed to by switching to Northern Apothecary Eyeshadows and Blush?
FREE from these toxins commonly found in cosmetics:
Talc
Dyes
Bismuth oxychloride
Carbon blacks (D&C Black #2, acetylene black, etc.)
Formaldehyde and preservatives
Parabens
Lead
Aluminum powder
Retinyl acetate or retinyl palmitate
Heavy metals
Cheap and unnecessary fillers
Carmine (vegan)
Since it’s a loose eyeshadow, I recommend using a primer or concealer to prime your lids for the pigment. The jar comes with a sealed sifter, so after you peel the seal, you can gently tap some powder into the lid, swirl your finger or a brush around the lid to pick up the color and apply.
Northern Apothecary launched this Spring with 6 shades of eyeshadows and 3 shades of mineral blushes. They are available under the tab “Northern Apothecary” on the website!
