Fun Fact: Lake Michigan is the only Great Lake located entirely within the United States. It touches Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, and is connected to Lake Huron through the Straits of Mackinac. Together, Lakes Michigan and Huron are technically one continuous body of water, even though we know and love them as two separate Great Lakes.
Here in Traverse City, advocate group FLOW (For Love of Water), works to protect Lake Michigan and the entire Great Lakes Basin through water law, policy, education, and the idea that these waters are a shared public resource that should remain healthy, public, and protected for generations to come. We donate $2 for every bottle of Gem of the Huron, Ontario Forever, Lake Michigan, Erie-sistible, or Superior State of Mind that sells in 2026. Most Northern Nail Polish shades are designed to be opaque in 2 coats, unless noted in the description above. For the longest-lasting manicure, finish with our Glossy 30 Second Quick Drying Top Coat. When you are ready for a new color, remove with our Natural and Nourishing Soy-based Nail Polish Remover.

Every bottle is designed, mixed, poured, labeled, photographed, packed, and shipped by me (and sometimes with the help of my parents, husband, and son during busy times!) Our pigments are sourced from conflict-free minerals, ensuring that your nails remain stain-free even after you remove our polish.
