Fun Fact: Lake Ontario may be the smallest of the five Great Lakes by surface area, but it still holds an enormous amount of freshwater. It’s the final Great Lake in the chain, receiving water from Lake Erie through the Niagara River before eventually flowing out through the St. Lawrence River toward the Atlantic Ocean. Its name comes from an Indigenous word often interpreted as meaning something like “beautiful lake” or “sparkling water.”
Here in Traverse City, advocate group FLOW (For Love of Water), works to protect the Great Lakes through water law, policy, education, and the idea that these waters are a shared public resource that should remain healthy, public, and protected for generations to come. We donate $2 for every bottle of Gem of the Huron, Ontario Forever, Lake Michigan, Erie-sistible, or Superior State of Mind that sells in 2026. That means if you pick up the whole limited time collection, we will donate $10!
Most Northern Nail Polish shades are designed to be opaque in 2 coats, unless noted in the description above. For the longest-lasting manicure, finish with our Glossy 30 Second Quick Drying Top Coat. When you are ready for a new color, remove with our Natural and Nourishing Soy-based Nail Polish Remover.
