Mercy Education Project: Empowering Michigan’s Women Through Education

“She believed she could and so she did.”

The Mercy Education Project or better known as MEP, is an all-female educational resource facility in Detroit, Michigan. MEP’s mission is to empower the women and girls of Detroit through education and career enrichment. Their personalized approach to education leaves their women and girls knowing that they are enough and that they are worthy of education and striving for greatness.

Northern Nail Polish and Northern Apothecary are completely run by a diverse team of women, and we have all been empowered through the educational opportunities that we were offered. Because of this, we’re proud to support MEP through Polish of the Month sales this August.

This month’s Polish of the Month (August 2020) is Shine Like a Star, and for every purchase or gifting (the polish is free with every order over $100) $5 will be donated to the Mercy Education Polish.

They have successfully transitioned to a hybrid model of education and are prepared to switch to 100% virtual learning this cold and flu season. They have also been able to close the digital divide with students by providing technology hardware and software assistance and creating a digital learning lab for their women students who need more computer skills training.

How Much Does Mercy Education Project Cost?
