Fun Fact: Owosso was home to bestselling Michigan adventure writer and passionate conservationist James Oliver Curwood, who once wrote, “The greatest thrill is not to kill but to let live.” After years spent exploring and writing about the wilderness, Curwood became a strong advocate for protecting it. He fought for reforestation, healthier streams, and shorter or closed hunting seasons when wildlife populations needed time to recover. He also helped organize the Shiawassee Conservation Club, while his adventure novels introduced millions of readers to a deeper appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors. His whimsical Curwood Castle, built along the Shiawassee River in 1922 as his writing studio, still stands in Owosso today.
Most Northern Nail Polish shades are designed to be opaque in 2 to 3 coats, unless noted in the description above.
